Sri Hemachala Narasimha Swami Temple,Mallur

Sri Hemachala Narasimha Swami Temple

1.      Hemachala Narsimha swamy temple is one of the famous temples in India.

2.      It was popularly known as Hemachalam in the ancient times.

3.      In the course of time it came to be known as Mallur. This hillock is adorned with many temples and is known for its herbal, medicinal plant protection centre.

4.      The hillock is in the shape of a half moon.
5.      The divine Veeranjaneya resides on the ghat protecting the environment from all odds.
6.      This ghat is the residence of Sri Bhavani
Shambhu Lingeshwara Swamy, Sri Rama and Seetha and Sri Venugopalaswamy.
7.      It is believed that the devotees who offer their prayers to the deity along with Sri Bhavani
Shabhu Lingeshwara and visit the other temples in the region of Mallur are saved from all troubles and tribulations.
8.      The Chintamani Lake flows through the forest area of the Hemachalam ghat as a stream all through the year. This is a divine elixir which drives away the diseases from the people who drink it.
9.      All the factors in this divine area are of much historical significance.
10.  It is sorrowful and regretting that most of the temples in this area like the Veeranjaneya swamy temple, Ramalayam, Sri Lakshmi Devata, Yeddumukka and the Mallur Mandapa are in a dilapidated state and are in need of resurrection and restructuring.
11.  The abode for so many medicinal trees and miracles needs protection and resurrection by one and all. We plead all the devotees to support for the great cause to reinstall these temples by way of monetary donations and through their psychological support.
12.  To commence this great work, we plan to resurrect the Veeranjaneya swamy temple. We desire your strong support for this cause.
