Sri Hemachala Narasimha Swami Temple,Mallur

Sri Hemachala Narasimha Swami Temple

1.      Hemachala Narsimha swamy temple is one of the famous temples in India.

2.      It was popularly known as Hemachalam in the ancient times.

3.      In the course of time it came to be known as Mallur. This hillock is adorned with many temples and is known for its herbal, medicinal plant protection centre.

4.      The hillock is in the shape of a half moon.
5.      The divine Veeranjaneya resides on the ghat protecting the environment from all odds.
6.      This ghat is the residence of Sri Bhavani
Shambhu Lingeshwara Swamy, Sri Rama and Seetha and Sri Venugopalaswamy.
7.      It is believed that the devotees who offer their prayers to the deity along with Sri Bhavani
Shabhu Lingeshwara and visit the other temples in the region of Mallur are saved from all troubles and tribulations.
8.      The Chintamani Lake flows through the forest area of the Hemachalam ghat as a stream all through the year. This is a divine elixir which drives away the diseases from the people who drink it.
9.      All the factors in this divine area are of much historical significance.
10.  It is sorrowful and regretting that most of the temples in this area like the Veeranjaneya swamy temple, Ramalayam, Sri Lakshmi Devata, Yeddumukka and the Mallur Mandapa are in a dilapidated state and are in need of resurrection and restructuring.
11.  The abode for so many medicinal trees and miracles needs protection and resurrection by one and all. We plead all the devotees to support for the great cause to reinstall these temples by way of monetary donations and through their psychological support.
12.  To commence this great work, we plan to resurrect the Veeranjaneya swamy temple. We desire your strong support for this cause.

Golkonda Fort

Originally a mud fort founded by the Kakatiya Kings of Warangal during the 13th century, Golconda attained glory under the Qutub Shahi dynasty (1518 to 1687). This is where the priceless Kohinoor diamond was found. One of the famous forts of India, an added attraction here is an enchanting sound & light show in the evenings.
One of the most interesting look of Golconda Fort is its system of acoustics. The sounds of hands clapped at the entry gate can be heard clearly at 'Bala Hissar', the highest point, a kilometre away.
You can enjoy Golconda Fort with the sound and light, the show that brings the legend of Golconda to life. People gather to see and hear this show in the evening.

Pavagadh

At the summit of Pavagadh hill, 762 m above sea level, is the temple to Mother Kali,
which is the oldest in the area, dating from the 10th-11th centuries.
Hindu pilgrims were coming to visit this temple from long before the development of Champaner as a major city, and they continued for hundreds of years after its decline, right up to the present day. To reach the temple at the summit is about a 5 km walk along a jungle footpath to the top of the hill; otherwise, there is a cable car which will haul you to the summit from about the midway point, which is the last place accessible by road. The temple has large fortifications and an open chowk in front, with two altars for sacrifices, and an array of lights for special occasions. The idol of Kalika Mata in the inner sanctum is only the head, the mukhwato, painted in red. Also present are full idols of Mahakali and the yantras of Bahuchara. The temple is open from very early to quite late, to accomodate pilgrims arriving at all hours. The Machi Haveli is a rest house available for pilgrims.
